Bordeaux blend, with 42% Cabernet Sauvignon. According to the tasting notes, each varietal (42% Cab, 24% Merlot, 22% PetitVerdot, 11% Cab Franc, 1% Malbec) was aged separately for 20 months. It’s a decent red wine with an easy-going, laid back disposition, kind of like an acoustic guitar on a relaxed, spring day in the valley. Restrained fruit, toasted oak, hints of chocolate. Might be hard to find. 88 pts, $19.99.
