Along the 2 lane highway in the Gulf Islands National Seashore at Navarre Beach, a plow was moving the drifting sand off the road. At the same time the pelicans were dive bombing into the ocean to skew fish, and the dolphins were surfacing. Another great day along the Emerald Coast.
In other parts of the country, snow hit once again prolonging spring fever just a few more days, possibly weeks. What I found ironic is that we came to Florida as snowbirds seeking sunshine, beaches and relaxation. Low and behold, what should appear, but a very familiar plow. Only this time it was sand, not snow.
