While at the Paella party here in Loreto, BCS, we were able to catch up with Antonio, one of the owners and wine makers at Roganto winery in Ensenada, Baja California which was started in 1987. Since then, the winery has grown and now produces about 10,000 cases a year. After a quick interview, Antonio was gracious enough to share a sample of his Cabernet Sauvignon 2006 and the Tramonte 2006 which is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo.
We look forward to trying them out soon and will give you StarkSilverCreek’s take on this burgeoning wine region along Baja’s peninsula.
