mypressi TWIST espresso

Talk about portable! I came across this coffee gadget — there are a lot of them — on Gizmodo. It caught my attention, partly for the sheer absurdness, but also partly because I wondered if it was even possible to brew an espresso using something that looked like a slightly pregnant mallet.

Made by mypressi, it’s called the ‘TWIST’, sells for $129 and uses Co2 cartridges (via a “pneumatic engine”), so power is not required.

May I suggest this is a novelty, and will not exactly be mistaken for the next Cabbage Patch doll runaway sales success?
