Stark Insider week in review: Birds, Bucerias, ‘Wine Tales’ and Napa

BY Clinton Stark — 01.18.2009

If you’re on the West Coast I’m sure you’re enjoying this heat wave… although I hope it doesn’t mean an upcoming drought and another bad wildfire season.

On the East Coast, take a break from the cold, cast aside that shovel and catch up on some of the SSC headlines which include: more wine adventures from Napa, a special Bucerias Mexico series by guest blogger Carl Orthlieb, and plenty of podcasts and other tidbits.

And by the way, isn’t that an amazing (and ultimately happy) story about ‘The Miracle on the Hudson‘?

The pilot is actually from Danville here in Silicon Valley. Great stuff, a hero for sure. Someone twittered that it’s yet another reason to rid the world of birds. Perhaps a Hitchcock reference, I’m not sure.

As always we are open to your guest blogs!

It’s as easy as emailing [email protected]. Enjoyed a great wine? Go ahead, share with everyone! Updates, news, or stories from Loreto (or any other interesting destinations)? Go ahead and blog away. Just email [email protected]: the subject will be your blog post, and the rest of your email is the blog content. Include photos too if you want. Humor optional.
