Thanks to Pat who pointed out the latest news on the myloretobay web site about Alaska Airlines. Some good news! Alaska will be increasing weekly capacity into Loreto and insert an extra weekly flight out of Los Angeles LAX:
- added Friday flight
- increased jet size on Fridays and Tuesdays to a 70 seat CRJ (regional jet)
- increased jet size on Sundays and Thursdays to a 136 seat 737 jetliner
This is effective Friday, November 9, 2008.
Despite a struggling economy, and cut backs to flights even in the US by major airlines, this is a very positive sign for homeowners and tourists.
