Skate into the holidays at Union Square, San Francisco’s top shopping destination!
The ice rink opens Wednesday, November 10, 2010 and runs through Monday, January 17, 2011. Hours are 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. Sunday – Thursday and 10 a.m. – 11:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. On Friday, December 31, 2010 the rink will close at 9:30 p.m.
Ticket prices for children eight years old and under are $4.50 Monday through Friday until 6 p.m. and $5 from 6 p.m. Friday through the closing session on Sunday. For adults, ticket prices are $9 Monday through Friday until 6 p.m. and $9.50 from 6 p.m. Friday through the closing session on Sunday. Ice skate rentals ($4) and hockey skate rentals ($5) will be available.
A portion of ticket proceeds benefit Boys and Girls Clubs of San Francisco and the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department.
Advance tickets go on sale Monday, October 18 at www.unionsquareicerink.com/tickets. Starting November 10 tickets will be available online and at the ice rink ticket window in Union Square. Group rates and private parties are also available.
