giving-tree_good_smOne of my favorite traditions is Christmas in the Park in downtown San Jose. Now celebrating its 30th year, I really enjoy the atmosphere at Plaza de Cesar Chavez Park , and get a hoot out of the fact that we can have ice (and a sprinkling of would-be snow) right smack-dab here in Northern California.

That’s the spirit!

If you haven’t had a chance to take in the sights, this weekend would be a fun time for the whole family. On Sunday, the holiday parade kicks off at 8:30am so be sure not to miss that. Also note that Christmas in the Park is a designated Second Harvest Food Bank Collection Location.

All events are free, and open to the public. So why not head downtown, maybe take in a show before or after, and enjoy all the festivities!
