Comedian, actor, and all-round guy-with-the-smile Seth MacFarlane is set to headline the San Francisco Symphony annual holiday concert season. We have those details and more below, including the full schedule. Mark your calendars, once again SF Symphony has pulled out all the stops.

Grammy Award-nominated Seth MacFarlane will join the San Francisco Symphony for a special New Year’s Event on December 31. The vocalist will join Edward Outwater (program starts 8pm) with tickets ranging from $89. The program is still TBA, but expect laughs and an all-out good time. After all, we’ll be in the hands of MacFarlane.

Other highlights in a jam packed concert season schedule include Seal, Deck the Hall and Holiday Brass, Armistead Maupin, Bach Collegium Japan, Peter and the Wolf, A Merry-Achi Christmas, Holiday Soul, Handel’s Messiah, a screening of the film Home Alone with live SFS accompaniment, and A Charlie Brown Christmas.

In addition organizers say, “Throughout the month of December, the lobbies of Davies Symphony Hall are transformed into a holiday wonderland, complete with towering trees decorated with handmade ornaments made by children and volunteers from local schools and community groups.”
