Live in the Vineyard: A Great Big World Interview + “Say Something” (Video)

A Great Big World may just be one of the most heartfelt and inspiring bands currently on tour. Not to mention: energetic, quirky, fun, charming, talented.

The NY-based pop duo left us breathless — and picked up a Grammy in 2015 — with a string of rousing hits, including “Say Something” (with Christina Aguilera), “Already Home” and, most recently, the hug-ready “Hold Each Other.”

We are the voices of the underdogs.

Those fortunate to be at the Uptown Theater when A Great Big World swung through Napa were in for an unforgettable treat. The group powered through a lively, upbeat 25-minute set that had us on our feet from the opening beat.

I caught up with Ian Axel (who may very well be proof that muppets exist) and Chad King at the Live in the Vineyard music festival. Watch the special Stark Insider video above to fund out about their creative process, challenges of writing hit songs, and… coconuts?!

A Great Big World continues to tour across the country. You can find their schedule here. Quick tip: go see this band live!
