Food truck fans, take note. Here’s a chance to come out and taste dishes from San Francisco’s finest.
The first annual Eater awards for the best food trucks in the city have been announced, and here’s how the voting turned out for the top ten finalists:

Now, just like an all-star game, all of these food trucks will be coming out to Fort Mason on October 15 (not much mystery there on location, but still…!). Better still, you’ll be supporting a good cause.
According to organizers donations will be made ($1 per vote) to the San Francisco and Marin food banks.
Also, “San Francisco’s number-one favorite mobile eatery” will be revealed at this free public event and win a $5,000 customized truck makeover. That should buy a spiffy paint job!
