Former Ringling star and Bay Area native Alex Ramon dazzles audiences with "Alex Ramon Magic."

Fresh from touring around the world as one of the youngest Ringmasters in Ringling Bros.’ 141 year history, master magician Alex Ramon returns to his native Bay Area in a self-titled show with stops in Walnut Creek, San Rafael, and San Jose.

Alex Ramon’s been seen on national and international television, has made elephants disappear, turned men into tigers, and levitated Whoopi Goldberg. His talents will be showcased in ten performances designed to delight kids, parents, and grandparents alike.

According to organizers, the all-new production, Alex Ramon Magic, promises family-friendly entertainment that will “harken back to the wonder years of magic, and also nod its head to today’s hi-tech modern age.”

Scheduled feats include unbelievable levitation, prodigious prestidigitation, disappearing items, and borrowed cell phones which summon surprising calls.

At age 18, Alex Ramon received the coveted Lance Burton Award and was named National Stage Magic Champion by the World Magic Seminar in Las Vegas.

Ramon also toured the globe with Disney, performing on four continents in fourteen countries. Now 26, he spent the last two years as the “Magical Zingmaster” for Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Zing Zang Zoom, the first magician ever to be the star of that show. He was responsible for sensational and grand illusions, as well as act introductions in the traditional role of Ringmaster. In that show, performed before millions around the country, Ramon exchanged a man for a tiger in a suspended glass box, made an elephant disappear in a puff of smoke, and levitated scores of audience members.
