Loreto, BCS: Another chapter to the great adventure

Tuesday-Wednesday-Loreto-Baja-1 — This is the first time my mom has accompanied us on our trip to Loreto, Baja California Sur. She was a great sport accompanying us on adventures that spanned waiting in government offices, prepping our Casa del Lagarto Azul, hiking along the beaches and trying out new restaurants and old favorites. BTW: Love this blouse. I purchased it from a store in Loreto!

It is Thursday and we will board a plane to head back to San Francisco Bay Area today. Over the coming weeks…maybe months, we’ll post stories and discoveries from our explorations here in Loreto, BCS.

Here is a sneak peek of some of the highlights as I start to enjoy the memories we have captured in photos and videos.

Visiting the Internado and watching the excitment as we brought out popsicles for the all the children. However, they seemed even more excited about the video camera that Clint had. As you know, the net proceeds from the 2010 Loreto Calendar will benefit these children.

Met Colette and her friend Max. Colette was nice enough to let us use her terrace for the interview with the mayor of Loreto.

One of my favorite hardware stores in Loreto, Ferreteria "Chuco's". It's a family run business and this is actually Chuco.
