Clint and I have known John Portilla through many email exchanges sharing our love of Loreto, BCS. In fact, Loreto and the Loreto Bay community is special in that way.

There is magic in the bonds that we all share with this little place along the Baja peninsula. To each, Loreto may represent something completely different, yet always precious.
Thank you John for sharing your piece of Loreto, BCS in these photos.

If you would like to send in your photos, the deadline is tomorrow, so get them in by sending them to loretocalendar@starkinsider.com. The net proceeds from the sale of the 2010 Loreto Calendar will go to benefit the children of the Internado School in Loreto.

Last year, we were able to sell 63 calendars and raised over $1,300 for Animalandia (thanks to a corporate match from Adobe Systems). This year, I know we can do even better. Last year you were all stuck with photos that Clint and I took with our modest abilities. This year, we will have an incredible calendar drawing from all the photography talents of the Loreto community. Go Loreto!
