It all started with a conversation I had with Alan Webber from Forrester a couple of weeks ago over dinner at LuLu’s in San Francisco after a day at Adobe MAX.

Sometimes, it’s dangerous to talk to analysts because their minds are brimming with ideas and they are quick to share them. We got onto the topic of web 2.0, social networking…blogs. So I mentioned our little StarkSilverCreek blog.

He asked me if I had a blog business card. “No,” I replied, making a mental note to order myself some moo cards when I got home. “But, I’ll follow up and email you the website,” I quipped as I cut into a piece of fish.

Then came the topic of blog platforms. “Typepad” Alan quickly responded noting he had evaluated all the blog platforms and thought WordPress was the way to go. Hmm…

I opened the front door after a long drive back from San Francisco. “Hi Clint, had a great dinner. Ended up talking to Alan Webber about blog platforms and he suggested WordPress. Any thoughts?”

To be continued… In the meantime, hope you like the new look!
