Sheraton Warsaw. The Adobe Poland office can be accessed from the second floor. There is something delightful about being able to roll out of a hotel room bed and zip over to the office.

I am on a two week trip in Europe. First stop is Poland for two days. One of my colleagues from the Adobe Poland office gave me a whirlwind tour of Warsaw by car last night which I really appreciated as unfortunately this time around, I will not have the opportunity to see much of Poland due to schedules.

I took many photos of Warsaw by evening which really pushed my little digital camera to its limit. I hope Adobe Photoshop will work miracles on the photos so that I may share a couple with you.

If ever I am back in Poland, for leisure instead of business, I would like to experience…

  • The marvel of the Wieliczka Salt Mines in Krakow. For now, YouTube videos will need to suffice. The first time I heard of them was when I read “Salt: A World History” by Mark Kurlansky. The descriptions of entire chapels made of crystalized salt was a mesmerizing vision.
  • One of the darkest moments of our history – Auschwitz concentration camp.
  • The soaring spirit of an opera at Teatr Wielki.

I leave for Prague this evening.
