Taking off to Rome tomorrow morning. I think I have everything I need except for the conversion plug for Italy – will probably have to pay an arm and leg at airport for one.

I know I am a day early for my monthly solar update, but better early than late by a week.

Some of you may notice that since last month, I have also been posting vegetable plants photos as well to track progress.

I have been making my own fertilizer from eggshells and coffee grinds. The combination of an online search engine and an unsatiable curiosity is a dangerous combination. My quest for organic fertilizers led me to a website called “Backwoods Home Magazine”.

Will write about my adventures when I get back!
