Making the Switch to Reuseable Grocery Bags

Trader Joe's Reusable Grocery Bags

About a week ago, I ran a pilot by sneaking a single reusable grocery bag into our regular purchases at Trader Joe’s.

I had seen reusable bags available for a while at Trader Joe’s and had been hesitant and skeptical whether I had the coordination in my life to remember to bring them when I go to Trader Joe’s. Recall from a previous post that one of the reasons I am loyal to that grocery chain is that I can complete the grocery shopping for the week in about 20 minutes flat.

Well, the pilot was successful. For only 99 cents a bag, switching over from disposable plastic and paper bags to reusable bags was completely painless. We just toss the reusable bags into the trunk after we’ve unloaded the groceries, ready for the next trip to Trader Joe’s.
