Clint and I are in Loreto now and the clouds have finally cleared and it’s sunny! I unfortunately, am2007_11_30_loreto_0066  feeling a little under the weather still and bedridden today with a fever. So instead of being out on the beach with margarita in hand, I’m on my bed writing this blog entry.

Clint and I have taken many videos and pictures during this Loreto Bay Homeowners’ Weekend and over the subsequent couple of weeks will be doing a multi-part blog series on our trip to Loreto Bay.

On Thursday night, we had a Meet & Greet with Michael Coyle, a Partner with Replay Inc. He gave a great presentation on his background as part of Intrawest and his plans for Loreto Bay. He showed some of the past projects he was involved in as part of Intrawest including Whistler Blackcomb, Mont Tremblant, and Lake Las Vegas. It was reassuring to see the high level of expertise that Replay is bringing to the Loreto Bay project as the managing partner with Citigroup.

2007_11_29_loreto_0182 Michael noted that the two key priorities for Loreto Bay currently are construction and amenities. Replay is doing extensive planning around the Beach Club and plan to have residences on the top floor. He also talked a lot about the importance of creating an experience so that when people come to Loreto Bay, they love Loreto Bay.

At the end of the presentation there was an opportunity for homeowners to ask questions.

Stay tuned for more on Loreto Bay!
