I recently joined Facebook just to learn more about it. The main tool I use to connect with colleagues and friends in LinkedIn. However, with some interesting news stories highlighting Facebook, I decided to peep into this world.

I really liked how it easily sucked in my contacts from my yahoo account and cross-referenced it with members on Facebook already. Out pops my sister, who is considerably younger than I…

We won’t go into specific numbers but take my word for it. I choose to link into her as I rarely get to hang out with her in the real world, she is all the way in Toronto, Canada.

A couple of days later, I get an email in my Adobe inbox to the effect of: “Hey sis…uh..strange seeing you here.” It was at that moment I realized the generation gap between me and my sis & her generation. At least my sister will admit to being related to me on Facebook.
