Loreto Bay Company RFI response comes with photos

I had a question on the french doors and windows. When I saw these on our last visit down in Loreto, I was concerned because the wood strips was only on the outside of the doors. They have been fixed so that both sides now have the wood strips. I did noticed the door handles are knobs, not levers. I really hope the knobs are temporary construction knobs and will be replaced with the "real" ones when the home is turned over.

Yesterday morning I got an email from Jesus with responses to my last RFI. Two of the answers came in the form of two photos.

I did get confirmation that the cabinets above the refrigerator will be fixed. They are currently too short. I think the cabinets look great. I can't wait to use the gas stove.

I hope all these deficiencie's are taken care before the acceptance of COSP.

Great pictures. It would seem the door knobs are temporary because they have to install the keycard locks on all the outside doors, one would hope. Did they tell you how the cabinets would be fixed? New ones, or lowering them. I checked out pictures of the Chicas in Founders, and they have full sized cabinets.

Depending on the mondel, “key card” locks are not installed on ALL outside doors.

If you have a separate entry to the bathroom from the outside as well as the bedroom, check to see if the locks on those interior doors were installed correctly. Ours were not and we’ve been fighting with LBC since May 2008 to get that item fixed.

What is stated in the warrantee book for timing to get a respons and get things fixed is not where near reality. If you’re not “standing” on their door step all the time, things do not get done.
