Well “here we go again”…

San Jose Stage Company has revealed that its summer musical selection is the iconic show Mamma Mia!.

Fueled by the music of Sweden super-group Abba, Mamma Mia! is an enchanting tale of “love, laughter and friendship.” And, no doubt we’re sure, plenty of dancing.

WHAT:  San Jose Stage Company production of the smash hit ABBA musical Mamma Mia!

WHEN: May 29 – July 7, 2019 (press opening on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 8:00 p.m.).

WHERE: San Jose Stage Company, 490 South 1st Street, San Jose, CA, 95113.

RUNNING TIME: Mamma Mia! runs about 2 hours and 30 minutes, including one intermission.

TICKETS: $32 – $60

Mamma Mia! combines the nostalgia of unforgettable ABBA tunes with friendship, feeling, and feminism,” said Director Allison F. Rich (who will also play the role of Tanya Cresham-Leigh). “We are excited to tell a story that revolves around strong characters who celebrate female independence. With productions in over fifty countries worldwide, Mamma Mia! is the original jukebox musical with rock concert fervor, and we can’t wait to welcome our audiences to the party!”

Mamma Mia! is scheduled to run at the San Jose Stage Company (downtown San Jose) from May 29 – July 7, 2019.

Looks like there’s going to be a whole lot of feels this summer in San Jose. We can’t wait.
