Daughtry Delivers – new single “Torches” a special highlight at Live in the Vineyard performance (Video)

It’s day 2 at the Live in the Vineyard music festival. Stark Insider is on location catching up with some of today’s most interesting, most talented hitmakers. Be sure to subscribe to the SI YouTube channel to get notified of new episodes.

Daughtry is back. The band was in Napa today for an intimate performance at the Live in the Vineyard music festival — the brainchild of music industry veterans Claire Parr and Bobbii Hatch-Jacobs — which kicked off last night with the eclectic and entertaining a capella group Pentatonix. The VIP only lunchtime event was exclusively for contest winners. Lucky them indeed! Those in attendance were treated to an up-close concert, a steady flow of Stella beer (the concert was held in the Stella Artois tent), and contemporary cuisine courtesy Chefs Grant MacPherson, and Dean Fearing.

Stark Insider was on location to meet up with Chris Daughtry pre-show, and to shoot some concert highlights. Look soon for the full episode.

For now, here are some highlights of Daughtry performing “Torches.” The new single is part of a greatest hits compilations, It’s Not Over…The Hits So Far, which came out this year. Hard to believe: it was 10 years ago (2006) when Chris zoomed up the American Idol polls, only to finish second in a shock result that surprised the nation.

Live in the Vineyard continues through the weekend, with performances tonight and Saturday night at the Uptown Theatre in downtown Napa.

Stark Insider hopes to see you there!
