Cirque du Soleil knows a thing or two about spectacle. I think that’s possibly one of the least controversial things ever written. But not only are the Quebec troupe’s shows fantastical, and visually astonishing, they feature equally unforgettable–and often incredibly immersive–soundtracks and musical numbers.

KURIOS – Cabinet of Curiosities recently premiered in San Francisco (review), and will soon be making its away across the U.S. and Canada. Those who want to a sneak peek behind the scenes of KURIOS can go backstage at the Grand Chapiteau at AT&T Park with Loni Stark. Turn back time, and revisit some of the most important moments in human history–the invention of electricity, the bicycle, and gramophone. Time travel, fun indeed!

Last.fm is hosting all 12 tracks available on the KURIOS soundtrack, including the lead track ’11h11′ and ‘Steampunk Telegram’.
