You saw it at Berkeley Rep. Now you can see it again – like a vivid flashback!

I’m sure you’ll recall how Hollywood legend Carrie Fisher came to Berkeley Rep in 2008 to work on her solo show. All hell broke loose! Wishful Drinking broke box-office records, became a New York Times bestseller, and sold out a seven-city tour. Then the the party headed to Broadway.

Well, that wasn’t enough…

Now Wishful Drinking will air on HBO.

An exclusive director’s interview with Debbie Reynolds will also be available from HBO On Demand.

The broadcast schedule is as follows:

An HBO Documentary Films presentation, Wishful Drinking is written and performed by Carrie Fisher; produced and directed by Randy Barbato and Fenton Bailey; senior producer, Lisa Heller; executive producer, Sheila Nevins.

Fisher’s performance was taped at the South Orange Performing Arts Center (SOPAC) in New Jersey. She continues to tour the show, and is delighting audiences with her Drinking in Australia right now.
