2011 Loreto Calendar - Deborah Scanlon

For your Sunday viewing pleasure, this latest set of photos are from Deborah Scanlon who has been a long time fan of Loreto, Baja. For this year’s 2011 Loreto calendar photo contest, she has sent in several photos highlighting the bird wildlife, the expansive vistas of Loreto and even a photo of a Loreto Bay community gem, the swimming pool.

Her work was featured in the 2010 Loreto Calendar and you can also admire her photographs on the walls of Cafe Lolita in Loreto, just off the Malecon, while enjoying one of their delicious sandwiches.

Remember, there are two days left to send in your photos to loni@starkinsider.com before the third annual contest closes and selection begins!

Fantastic work once again Deborah. The Blue Footed Boobies look right out of National Geographic. I love the juxtaposition of the beach waders and the pelicans. Seems harmonious.  Looking forward to all entries.

  • You are both very kind. And David, I just blush getting a compliment from you given your unbelievable talent. Loreto is a magical place and I’m always excited to try and capture just a ‘sense’ of it to share with others.
