A note from Cathy G— on Club Loreto Bay reminded me that even with all the activity around the construction of the Agua Viva phase of Loreto Bay, the show must go on.

Especially when the show is the 2010 Loreto Charity Calendar whose net proceeds will go to benefit the children of the Internado School in Loreto.

For those of you who generously participated in the inaugural year and purchased the 2009 Loreto Calendar, you know that we raised $1,376 for Animalandia after a corporate match from Adobe. A little over $10 from each $19.99 calendar purchase went to Animalandia. Adobe was able to match the donated proceeds so in the end, $20 was actually donated for each calendar purchased.

This year, we are opening up the creation of the calendar to the community as well. You can contribute by submitting your favorite Loreto photos to loretocalendar@starkinsider.com. As the photos come in, we will profile them here on StarkSilverCreek and if there are specific photos you love, let us know by posting a comment. Please note that all photos in the calendar will be attributed to the photographer.

So to kick this off, here are the photo submissions from Maria Sauvageau. If you sent in photos and your name is not Maria Savageau, no worries. Your photos will be featured on StarkSilverCreek…mañana.
