Monthly Kayak Moment

Here is your monthly reminder about the joys of kayaking on the Sea of Cortez. The birds see us as part of the ambiance. It is not unusual to have pelicans diving for fish right near our kayaks.

Can't wait to get down there and join you for some early morning kayaking. Did you buy a kayak down there or are you using Arturos? We have been contemplating how best to get a kayak when our home is complete. Anticipate we will need to make a run to Cabo or La Paz. Interested in any purchase insights you might have.

Dave, we've been told that the Ensenada Costco has kayaks like Arturos for sale. I'm going to be in Cabo in a couple weeks and will check on kayak availability and prices there. We just recently purchased 2 kayaks from a store in Sacramento that had a great sale and we're planning on bringing them down to LB when our casa is complete. Best (and cheapest) thing you can do now is buy your own paddle and use Arturo's boats when you're visiting LB.
What I don't get is how Jane keeps her camera dry yet useable out on the water.
We live in Calgary so a drive down through Ensenada isn’t in the cards any time soon. When I asked Arturo where he buys his boats, he laughed and said Costco. Looks like that is one more item on our list for the first supply run to Cabo.
