Updates to the Loreto Bay Site Map

A recent email from Loreto Bay featuring homes and lots linked to a site map for Agua Viva with some updated details.

Loreto Bay Site Map Update November 2008 with Paseo Golf Course and Estuaries

Most notably around our home on Lot 25, the Botanical Garden seems to be gone or at least moved to one side to make room closer to the west for parking and what is labeled as a “lift station”. I wonder what this is? I can’t really conjecture anything except it is a helicopter landing pad for emergencies?

You can access the updated site map here.

Loni, I believe the lift station is a sewage treatment thingy – not good for those of us downwind! Hopefully they'll plant lots of trees and bushes around it.

Hi,

A lift station generally contains pumps, valves and electrical equipment necessary to pump water or wastewater. Sad to say I know this because it was one of the endlessly fascinating topics I covered as a city government reporter many years ago! It would be much more exciting if it was a heli-pad.
Darn it! And here I was getting exciting images of people coming and going ala Trump-style.

Well I do hope it is to pump water instead of wastewater. Does a station like this make a lot of noise? I wonder how it will look aesthetically…

Strange Loreto Bay would consider putting this in such a central area. You would think it would be in more secluded place. Am I missing something here?

    Hi,
